Interior Redesign
 
     Interior Redesign is design using the things you already own.  So many times, people are afraid to hire a designer because they fear that person will come in and want to start fresh with all new furniture and accessories.  With redesign, we use the furniture and accessories you already own. We just rework them to show them off to their best potential. We may make suggetions on further improvements such as color, lighting and accessories, but it is your choice to use them if you want.   In these photos, you can see how a we can transform a room whether you choose to use only the things you own, or if you choose to follow our suggestions.

In this example, the homeowner had us come out strictly for redesign, using only what they already owned.  A few months later, they decided to purchase a pellet stove insert for their fireplace and asked us to come back and suggest a few updates.  In the above photos, the walls were painted a very warm yellow.

      In this before and after, the homeowner already had the right furniture pieces, just not in the right places.  The sofa and chair were placed too far apart for conversation.  Also, the sofa should have been placed to take advantage of the fireplace and the windows. All of the accessories are things that the homeowner was using in different areas of the home and in storage.  The drapes and rods were purchased months before, but never hung.
 
When we came back for the follow up visit, we suggested removing the old mauve tiles from around the fireplace, and painting the mantle and surround white.  The TV stand supports the television a little better than the old table it was resting on, but it is still a little out of scale.  It does help add more color to the room.  This was a piece that the homeowners already had that we were able to rework into the room.  The drawers are now able to hide all of the technology.
