     Home staging is not about how you live in your home, it's about how a new family will live in their new home.  When a potential home buyer walks into a home for sale, they want to have the feeling this is the one!  This feeling is hard to have when they feel as though they are invading someone else's space.  Home staging is about depersonalizing, and neutralizing to suit a wide variety of tastes.  We tend to decorate our homes with themes or trends, very taste specific.  Not everyone enjoys turquoise living room walls or a pink and purple bathroom.  Bella Traverse Design will update your property, while keeping to a minimal budget.  Home Staging is meant to be an affordable solution, not to be an expensive remodel.
 
     Home Staging is an effective way to market your home for sale.  As we all know, it is a buyers market.  There is a large inventory for potential home buyers, and they expect to find the best house for their dollar.  If a home buyer has the choice between four comparable homes, and one of them is in move in condition, this will be the one they will choose.  Move in condition means the home is clutter free, clean, there are no projects left unfinished, and staged to show off the homes best qualities.
 
     After spending years in a home, we tend to loose sight of a rooms purpose.  We don't notice the clutter or poor furniture placement, because we are comfortable with it.  We've grown in our homes and so has our "junk".   Every square foot of a home should be used effectively.  A professional home stager can show you how to arrange furniture and accessories to show off the homes best features and create a good traffic flow, taking advantage of every square foot.

~Home Staging Consultation~
     (Great for the do it yourselfers)
 
      ~1-2 hour appointment
      ~digital photos taken
      ~ list of suggestions mailed or emailed within 72 hours
 
     This option consists of a one time appointment.  The homeowner is responsible for carrying out all of the suggestions of Bella Traverse Design.  You have the option of not following through with all of the suggestions, but the more you do, the better your chances of a successful sale. At the appointments, we will go through every room, writting notes and taking pictures.  These are then taken back to the studio, so that a comprehensive list can be compiled.  It will then be sent back via mail, fax or email.
 
 
~Complete Home Staging Services~ 
 
     ~1-2 hour appointment
      ~digital photos taken
     ~deep cleaning
     ~removing of excess furniture
     ~repainting of rooms
     ~rearranging of rooms
     ~arrangement of rental furniture if neccessary
 
 
     This option consists of 2 appointments.  The first is for the initial walk through, then a second appointment to carry out the work. If you find that the list from the home staging consultation option becomes more work than you expected, you can upgrade to the complete home staging services option.  There will be a team of people to carry out the work.
